In this Privacy Statement, we explain, among other things, what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use the information when you visit our website vewd.com and associated websites.

What data we collect on our website and why
When you visit the site, we collect certain information from the device you use and information about how you use the site.
Information collected from your device includes:
- IP address,
- date and time of the access,
- name and URL of the accessed file,
- browser type and version
- further information sent by the browser (such as your computer’s operating system, the name of your access provider, geographical origin, etc.).
We process these data to ensure trouble-free connection to the website, comfortable use of our website, for evaluating system security and stability and also for further administrative purposes. This information is temporarily stored in a log file.
Information about how you use the site includes information such as:
- the length of your stay on the site,

- scrolling behavior etc.
We use this information at an aggregated level to gain insight that allows us to develop and improve the site. Hence, the legal basis for this processing is Vewd’s legitimate interest to develop and improve the site. How we share your data

Third party websites and services
We use third party services for analytics, marketing and hosting.
We use Google Analytics for the purpose of creating a website experience tailored to users’ needs and continuing optimization of our website. In this context, pseudonymized user profiles are created and cookies are used. The information generated includes:
- web browser type / version,
- operating system used,
- referrer URL (the previously visited website),
- host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
- time of server request,
are transmitted to and stored on a server belonging to Google in the USA. The European Standard Contractual Clauses are the legal basis for the transfer.

Marketing through LinkedIn, Hubspot and Twitter:
Vewd use LinkedIn Insight Tag, HubSpot tracking code and Twitter Ads to present our products and company to people that have already shown interest in our products and company, or are likely to find our advertisement relevant and interesting.
Vewd has a page on Facebook which we use for advertising. Facebook provides aggregated statistics to help us understand the take of actions visitors take of our pages. For more information regarding what information Facebook collects, please read here.
We use Salesforce to store customer data and lead information for marketing purposes. The personal data processed includes:

Information security – how we protect your data
The protection of your personal data is a high priority for us. We continuously work to protect personal data and other confidential information. Our security measures include physical, technical and administrative measures that will ensure that your personal data is not compromised, not unintentionally changed, and available when required. Such measures include for example access restrictions and controls, back up routines, and disaster recovery routines.

You may be asked to prove your identification so that we can verify who is making the request. We may need to update the Privacy Statement as our operations and services evolve or if there are changes in the applicable privacy laws.
